Job Title: Bank Catering Assistant

Reporting to the Head Chef, you will support meal preparation, maintain a clean and safe environment, and assist with deliveries. This role offers a calm and enjoyable working environment where you can manage your workload and interact socially with colleagues and service users.

Responsibilities:

• Assist catering staff with meal preparation and cooking following company policies.
• Serve food and beverages to service users, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain storage procedures and rotate stock appropriately.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper storage of all areas, equipment, and furniture.
• Meet hygiene standards and comply with health and safety policies.
• Liaise with the team, including dietitians, regarding dietary requirements and planned meals.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP standards.
• Experience in a similar catering role.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.

Supporting individuals with complex mental health needs and behaviours that challenge, as well as older females, the service aims to equip service users with skills for community living and independence. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team including nursing, psychiatry, psychology, occupational therapy, and social work.
