Job summary

A leading construction company based in Bromsgrove is recruiting a Caretaker for a job share role. The position involves 15 hours of work per week with responsibilities including site security, maintenance tasks, and utility checks. The ideal candidate will have caretaker or trade experience, good numeracy and literacy skills, and the ability to work independently. This role offers an attractive pay rate of £13.90 per hour and opportunities for personal growth and development.

Qualifications

• Caretaking or trade experience in a similar environment.
• Willingness to develop knowledge of ICT and other specialist equipment/resources.
• Knowledge of COSHH regulations.
• Demonstrate a flexible attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Security of the site and key holding.
• Undertake regular security checks and identify risks.
• Monitor fire safety equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings and grounds.
• Undertake emergency cleaning tasks.

Skills

Caretaking or trade experience

Good numeracy/literacy

Ability to work without supervision

GCE or equivalent in Maths and English
