Spa Nursing Group in Belfast is seeking a part-time Cook to prepare nutritious meals tailored to residents with specific dietary needs. You will handle stock, menu planning and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.

The role requires attention to hygiene, COSHH/HACCP knowledge, and the ability to supervise kitchen assistants. Eligibility to work in the UK is required and interviews may be conducted via video call.

Qualifikationen

• Compassion, understanding and positivity in supporting residents’ nutritional needs.
• Experience in cooking, ideally within a care setting or catering environment.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (or willing to obtain).
• Understanding of dietary requirements e.g. IDDSI, allergen, diabetes etc.
• A commitment to hygiene, food safety and compliance with statutory regulations.

Aufgaben

• Prepare meals & snacks in line with residents’ dietary needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all food prep and storage areas.
• Manage stock, order supplies and control waste to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Plan varied menus accommodating dietary restrictions and likes.
• Complete paperwork including food safety records and compliance documentation.
