Job summary

Cygnet Fountains, part of Cygnet Health Care Limited, is seeking a Part-time Kitchen Assistant. The role involves preparing meals, supporting a clean, orderly kitchen and helping with stock checks. Shifts total 18 hours weekly across three days, with potential overtime. DBS check required.

You will work within a care setting dedicated to high standards of cleanliness and patient wellbeing, reporting to the kitchen supervisor. A pension and other employee benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering, ideally in a care setting.
• Enthusiastic, team player with good communication.
• Able to work 18 hours per week in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist the team in providing balanced, appetising meals.
• Carry out basic food prep, cooking tasks and kitchen duties.
• Wash dishes, check deliveries, assist with stock ordering and maintain hygiene.
