Job summary

Kensington Care Home (Crown Care) is seeking a part-time housekeeper and laundry assistant for 16 hours per week, with potential weekend work. Training will be provided to ensure high cleanliness standards and efficient laundry handling within the care home.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
• Training will be provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Eligible to work in the UK; weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and communal areas.
• Change bed linens and restock supplies.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and polish surfaces.
• Laundry duties: wash, dry, fold, and organise linen.
• Restock cleaning supplies and report maintenance issues.
• Ensure safe use and storage of cleaning equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff.
• Follow health and safety protocols.
