Job summary

Right at Home Portsmouth is hiring part-time Care Assistants to support older and vulnerable adults in their own homes across Portsmouth and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible hours between 8 and 20 hours per week, with full paid training provided and opportunities for progression.

You'll work across Portsmouth and nearby areas, travelling between clients' homes. A full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle are required for this role.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required.
• Full paid training provided.
• Experience in customer service, administration or hospitality is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Provide personal care.
• Assist with meal preparation.
• Support with medication where applicable.
• Help with light household tasks.
• Assist with shopping and community outings.
• Support daily routines and encourage independence.
