Job summary

Cera is seeking a Care Assistant to support clients across Portsmouth and surrounding areas. You will assist people recently discharged from hospital, helping them recover at home while contributing to safer, more independent living.

Several shifts available; driving is required. The role includes a joining bonus and a range of benefits designed to support carers in their professional development and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Care and NVQ or willingness to work towards one.
• Variety of shift patterns offered; block hourly rate covering travel time and care visits.
• Part-time and full-time roles available; some weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care including continence support, washing and dressing.
• Manage medications and assist with cooking or preparing hot meals.
• Help with domestic tasks and daily living activities.
• Provide companionship, reassurance and joy to clients.
