Anglian Water Services is seeking a Catering Assistant at Alton Water for part-time hours. You will deliver friendly service, take orders, manage payments, and prepare drinks and light meals. You’ll keep the café tidy, assist during busy periods, and support IT systems and cash handling with the team.

Day-to-day duties include ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer care. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and professional service to all visitors.
• Serve customers with a smile, taking orders and handling payments.

• Keep the café area clean, tidy, and well-stocked.
• Support the team during busy periods with a can-do attitude.
• Provide helpful information to enhance customer experiences.
• Assist in keeping customer areas clean, safe, and inviting.
• Manage IT systems.
• Assist the Manager with opening/closing and cashing up.
