Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our friendly team. Hours are 20 hours per week on a rota basis, based at our facilities in England and Wales. You will provide drinks and snacks service in our coffee shop, delivering excellent customer service at all times.

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds. Training and ongoing support will be provided; previous catering experience is helpful but not required. A welcoming, inclusive workplace with opportunities to grow is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a customer facing environment
• Experience of managing a varied workload
• Excellent communication skills
• A genuine team player and have a high level of responsibility, flexibility, enthusiasm and motivation
• Must also be able to maintain the highest level of professionalism and integrity
• Drive and energy to enthuse the staff they are working with
• Team orientated approach, able to work across organisation boundaries and demonstrate interest and be supportive of the work of colleagues
• Welsh Language skills are desirable

Responsibilities

• Provide an efficient catering service, either serving drinks or preparing and serving snacks in our coffee shop
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times
• Be a genuine team player, able to work off your own initiative and be enthusiastic and motivated
• Take pride in maintaining high levels of professionalism and integrity
• Be motivated to enthuse and support staff across the team
