Job summary

Lab54 is a London-based content-led events and production company seeking a Part-time Bookkeeper. The role covers day-to-day finance, supplier reconciliations, invoice processing, and payroll preparation to support per-event profitability.

The ideal candidate will have strong Xero experience, project-costing focus, and a meticulous, deadline-driven approach. The first three months require in-office presence; from month four, one day per week remote is possible subject to targets being met.

Qualifications

• Proven bookkeeping experience in a finance function.
• Xero to a high standard with tracking categories, PO, bank rules, and journals.
• Strong understanding of purchase-ledger processes and supplier reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Match supplier invoices to POs in Xero; ensure no payments beyond agreed terms.
• Enforce PO rule for commitments over £500; invoices without PO rejected.
• Prepare and approve payment runs with proper documentation.
• Reconcile supplier statements and maintain accurate purchase ledger.
• Produce weekly cash/expenses reports and keep the P&L model updated.
