Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking an Accounts & Bookkeeping Administrator to join their team in a part-time capacity. The role supports payroll processing, invoicing, credit control, and general bookkeeping tasks with a focus on accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will manage financial records, prepare reports for management, and assist with budgeting and forecasting. The position emphasizes independence, organisation, and strong communication with colleagues and customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience within a bookkeeping role.
• Experience with Sage 50 Accounts and Sage 50 Payroll.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing: Process weekly and monthly payroll accurately and on time.
• Sales Ledger & Invoicing: Create and issue customer invoices accurately and promptly.
• Credit Control: Monitor outstanding payments and follow up overdue accounts.
• Bookkeeping & Financial Administration: Maintain accurate financial records and perform reconciliations.
• Reporting: Produce financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Compliance: Ensure records comply with regulations and liaise with external accountants.
