Job summary

Confidential is seeking a part-time Bookkeeper in Redruth (outskirts) to join the team on a permanent basis. The role is 16 hours across two days per week, with Monday required and potential for some home working in the future.

You will work with an experienced Finance Manager on varied transactional finance, bookkeeping and payroll duties, using Sage Line 50. The role offers flexibility in hours and site-based start with possible remote elements.

Qualifications

• Experience in day-to-day transactional finance procedures.
• Payroll administration knowledge is advantageous.
• Organised, reliable and able to work independently while being a team player.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and transactional finance duties
• Process purchase and sales ledger transactions
• Maintain accurate financial records and undertake regular bank reconciliations
• Assist with payroll administration
• Support with month-end procedures and reporting
• Liaise with suppliers and other contacts as required
• Provide general support to the wider finance function
