Job summary

Paddock Trust invites applications for a Part-time Business Development Officer to identify funding opportunities, write bids and secure investment for community projects across Kirklees and West Yorkshire. You will work with senior leaders and delivery teams to develop high-quality bids, manage funding pipelines and help grow services that benefit local communities.

This 22.5 hour role offers pro rata salary from £20,476 to £23,242.

Qualifications

• Experience in bid writing, fundraising, tender writing or business development.
• Ability to write clearly and persuasively.
• Experience researching opportunities and developing strong applications.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple deadlines.
• Motivated by creating positive change within local communities.

Responsibilities

• Identify funding, grant and tender opportunities.
• Write compelling bids, funding applications and proposals.
• Gather evidence, outcomes and impact data from colleagues.
• Build positive relationships with funders, commissioners and partners.
• Support development of new projects and income-generating opportunities.
• Maintain a pipeline of funding opportunities and coordinate submissions.
• Contribute to the long-term growth and sustainability of Paddock Trust.
