Chartwells Independent is recruiting a driven Barista on a part-time basis (4 hours per week) to craft beautifully brewed coffees and deliver first‑class service to customers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service.
• Excellent communicator capable of building relationships.
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Reliable with good timekeeping.
• Willingness to learn and progress within the company.

Responsibilities

• Prepare blended drinks and serve high-quality food that delights customers.
• Keep the bar area clean.
• Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards).
• Be an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator.
• Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates.
• Learn about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques.
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs.
• Representing Asda and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
