Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic pharmacist to lead the critical care pharmacy team. The post holder will provide clinical services to critical care areas and develop the team within a busy District General Hospital.

Ideal candidates are Band 8a pharmacists with critical care experience, ready to lead and develop services. The role includes teaching, policy development and close collaboration with the formulary team.

Formación

• Essential experience in critical care pharmacy.
• Proven staff management and leadership skills.
• Experience delivering education/training to multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the critical care pharmacy team to ensure clinical services in critical care areas.
• Participate in multidisciplintry ward rounds to promote high-quality, cost-effective care.
• Monitor drug expenditure and forecast developments within the specialty.
• Collaborate with the critical care and formulary pharmacists to run medicines management meetings.
• Develop and implement policies and guidelines for the department.
