Job summary

Autism Initiatives in Southport is seeking a Part-Time Support Worker to join a dynamic team. The role offers 20 hours per week with a pay rate of £13.01 per hour, in a flexible and person-centered service for autistic individuals.

Training is provided, with opportunities for progression and a comprehensive benefits package. You will help individuals lead active, independent lives in their communities.

Qualifications

• You may have a background or understanding of supporting autistic people, but if not, don’t worry, we have great training and a friendly team to support you every step of the way.
• The support we deliver is flexible and unique to each individual, building on their strengths and driven by their goals.
• As a Support Worker, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and will enjoy joining a dynamic team that encourages people with autism to enjoy an active lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Supporting people to be as independent as possible in their homes.
• Promoting health and well-being and supporting individuals to maintain their home.
• Community activities could include swimming, walking groups or cinema trips.
