Job summary

Salford City Council is seeking an Assistant Cook to join a tight-knit team. You will ensure the food served is of a high standard and cover for the Cook Supervisor when needed. NVQ Level 2 in Catering or City and Guilds 706/2 in Catering is required, with a Basic Hygiene certificate desirable.

Excellent customer care and presentation are essential. The role is 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during term time only. Benefits include pension scheme and staff discounts.

Responsibilities

• Assist Cook Supervisor to maintain high standard of food quality and presentation.
