Job summary

Salford City Council is seeking a General Assistant on a permanent, term-time only basis to support the Cook Supervisor in delivering healthy meals to children. You will help with setting up dining rooms, washing up, serving meals and some basic food preparation.

The role offers competitive pay and benefits including the LGPS pension scheme and health and wellbeing packages. A DBS check is required and the £41 fee will be deducted from your first four months’ salary.
