Job summary

Rochdale Association Football Club, Limited is seeking an academy coach to plan, deliver and review coaching sessions in line with the club's philosophy, supporting the technical, tactical, physical, psychological and social development of academy players. The role is fixed term and part-time, based in Rochdale, with evenings, weekends and matchdays required.

The ideal candidate will hold a UEFA B Licence, EFAiF, a valid safeguarding certificate and an in-date DBS, demonstrating flexibility and

UEFA B Licence is required.
EFAiF qualification.
Child safeguarding certificate.
In-date DBS clearance.
Flexible to evenings, weekends and matchdays.

Responsibilities

Plan, deliver and review sessions aligned with the club's philosophy.
Prepare players for academy fixtures, festivals and tournaments.
Contribute to Individual Learning Plans and player reviews.
Work with academy coaching, sports science, medical and player care staff.
Monitor player wellbeing, behaviour and safeguarding.
Keep accurate attendance, session and development records.
