Job summary

Nescot in Epsom seeks an Admissions Advisor for a part-time role (18 hours a week) working Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10:30am-5pm with a 30 minute lunch break. You will provide course information to enquirers and guide applicants through the admission process.

The ideal candidate has at least two years' experience in busy office and customer care environments, with experience of working with young people or adults and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in a busy office environment.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a Customer Care environment.
• Experience of working with young people and/or adults.
• Possess first class customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide course information to personal and telephone enquirers, help the enquirers to identify the appropriate course for them and encourage them to apply, if appropriate.
• Support individual applicants throughout the admission process and act as a representative of the College to ensure successful entry to the College.
• Support the recruitment process via online systems and email.
• Create and maintain applicant records on MIS and be responsible for the accuracy of student admissions data.
• Support the CEIAG Team for school liaison and outreach activities.
• Play an active part in giving information and advice at College open events.
• Help at occasional out-pf-hours events such as open evenings and interviews
