Job summary

Sycamore Hall Care Home, part of Hill Care Group, seeks an Activities Coordinator (16 hours) to design and run engaging activities for older residents at Sycamore Hall. You will foster a warm, inclusive environment, coordinating with staff and volunteers while keeping records and ensuring safety.

A DBS check is required, with flexibility for community events. You will bring passion for enriching lives, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team,

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and delivering engaging activities for diverse needs.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities in a care setting.
• Experience or qualification in remedial or occupational therapies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Enrich Lives: design, plan and lead a varied programme of activities for residents.
• Community Engagement: involve families and volunteers in community life and fundraising.
• Collaboration & Communication: work with Home Manager and care team and maintain activity records.
• Promote Well-being: provide one-to-one companionship to residents who cannot participate in groups.
• Safety & Compliance: adhere to health and safety policies and maintain confidentiality.
