Job summary
20:20 Innovation is hiring a part-time Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team. The role focuses on sales ledger, invoicing and credit control, with initial 15 hours per week and flexible hours. AAT qualification or strong practical experience is preferred, with potential to grow as the business expands.
You will support daily accounting tasks while developing in a growing company that values trust, agility and community.
Qualifications
- Experience with sales ledger, invoicing and credit control.
- Hands-on accounting experience in a similar role.
- AAT qualification or working towards a recognised accountancy qualification.
Responsibilities
- Managing the sales ledger
- Raising and issuing sales invoices
- Credit control and debt management, including following up outstanding balances
- Allocating customer payments and maintaining account records
- Assisting with month-end accounts and reconciliations
- Responding to customer account and invoice queries
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Supporting the Finance Manager with general accounting duties as required
