Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Crawley is seeking a Part Time Accounts Assistant to join a friendly motor-trade team. You will manage ledgers, post transactions, and support month-end processes with accuracy.

This permanent role offers flexible hours (24–30 per week) and core hours 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a pro-rata salary up to £28,000 based on 37.5 hours. AAT study is encouraged; training and career progression are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts roles; motor trade preferred.
• Familiar with Pinewood; CDK Kerridge beneficial.
• Strong Excel skills and basic IT knowledge.
• AAT study or qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase and sales ledgers and bank reconciliations.
• Post and allocate transactions in accounting software.
• Reconcile supplier statements and ensure timely payments.
• Assist with financial reporting and month-end duties.
• Support the Finance Department and Financial Controller.
• Maintain compliance with policies and procedures.
