Job summary

Nottingham Forest is seeking an Academy Driver for The Nigel Doughty Academy in Nottingham. This part-time role (28 hours weekly) involves delivering safe transport to junior players on a split shift schedule, with occasional weekend work and early mornings.

You will perform routine vehicle checks, maintain cleanliness, and uphold safety and safeguarding standards while representing the Club professionally.

Qualifications

• Requires valid UK driving licence.
• Flexible availability, including potential weekend work.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures for youth travel.
• Ability to build professional relationships with players and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely transport to academy players on a fixed daily schedule (three hours morning, three hours afternoon/evening).
• Drive in compliance with Highway Code and safety policies.
• Report incidents promptly and accurately.
• Conduct daily vehicle maintenance and safety checks; keep vehicles clean.
• Adhere to club safety protocols at all times and support safeguarding obligations.
