Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is seeking a reliable Part-time 7.5t Driver for a precision engineering company in the Bury St. Edmunds area. The role involves multi-drop deliveries across East Anglia, with a typical 2 days per week commitment and 9.75 hours per day.

You will assist in loading, forklift tasks, and stores duties when not driving. A valid CPC, Digital Tachograph Card, and clean driving record are essential, plus the ability to work independently and manage delivery paperwork on handheld devices.

Qualifications

• Valid entitlement to drive 7.5t vehicles.
• Current CPC licence and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Forklift licence is desirable.
• Able to lift and move packages; manual handling.
• Good time management and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company when delivering to customers with professionalism and efficiency.
• Perform multi-drop deliveries within Suffolk and surrounding counties.
• Assist in loading and management of product onto the lorry bed.
• Vehicle cleanliness and daily maintenance including checks.
• Assist stores department with fork lifting and deliveries when not driving.
