Job summary

St James and St John Church of England Primary School is seeking a caring part-time 1:1 Teaching Assistant for our KS2 site in Chackmore. You will work closely with class teachers to support engaging and meaningful learning experiences.

This role involves 1:1 support, small groups, and assistance during whole-class activities, with duties including helping with lunches and supervising breaks to ensure children feel safe and cared for throughout the day.

About the role:

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic part time1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our KS2 site in Chackmore.

This is a wonderful opportunity to become part of a dedicated, child-centred team in our welcoming village school. You will work closely with class teachers to support the delivery of engaging and meaningful learning experiences.

The role will involve working 1:1 with individual children, supporting small groups, and assisting during whole-class activities. You may also be asked to help with serving lunches and supervising break and lunchtime duties, playing an important role in ensuring our children feel safe, supported and cared for throughout the school day.
