Part Qualified Interim Management Accountant

Interim Part Qualified Management Accountant required for Bristol based business

Are you a proactive and dynamic finance professional with extensive experience in assisting with the production of management accounts? Can you hit the ground running to provide valuable support to a Director of Finance? Interested in working for a passionate and highly regarded charity? If so, read on!

My client is offering a three-month contract to support the production of monthly management accounts, as well as to complete reconciliation work ahead of year-end. The role is based in Bristol on a hybrid basis.

What You'll Be Doing:

  1. Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, supporting P&L and balance sheet reporting.
  2. Help with variance analysis, identifying key trends and assisting in commentary for senior finance teams.
  3. Support balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and assisting in the resolution of discrepancies.
  4. Process invoices, accruals, and prepayments, maintaining accurate financial records.
  5. Work closely with the wider finance team to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  6. Assist with ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as required.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Part Qualified finance professional ACA/ACCA/CIMA with accounts production experience.
  • Experience dealing with different types of entity and complex group structures.
  • Up-to-date technical accounting knowledge with experience of using this in reporting and a desire to keep abreast of current practice and legislative changes.
  • Excellent IT skills including advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Self-starter who can demonstrate initiative.
  • Experience of working with Oracle is desirable.
