Job summary

Anderson Knight is recruiting a PQ Assistant Management Accountant in Paisley to support the monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and budgeting processes. You will work within a supportive finance team and gain exposure to year-end and audit activities while developing management accounting skills.

The role requires part-qualified status (ACCA/CIMA) and strong Excel and data handling skills; a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a busy

Qualifications

• Experience in a finance or accounting role.
• Part-qualified toward ACCA or CIMA.
• Strong understanding of management accounting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly management accounts preparation.
• Support month-end processes including journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Produce regular financial reports for the wider business.
• Support cash flow and working capital reporting.
• Investigate variances and identify trends or areas requiring further attention.
• Assist with year-end accounts and the annual audit process.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure accurate financial information.
• Take on ad hoc analysis and finance projects.
