Job summary

Addington Ball recruits for a Leamington Spa based accountancy practice seeking a Part Qualified Accountant to manage a diverse client portfolio and deliver year-end accounts, VAT and CIS returns, and responsive bookkeeping support.

With 35 hours per week and a Friday finish at 2pm, you will benefit from funded study support for ACA/ICAEW/ACCA, 22 days holiday plus Christmas shutdown, pension and private healthcare, and a supportive, modern working environment in a vibrant town.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within an accountancy practice
• AAT qualified and/or actively studying towards ACA (ICAEW) or ACCA qualifications
• IT skills including Excel and any accounts software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks etc)
• High levels of attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Managing a diverse range of clients, providing guidance and advice to clients
• Financial Year-end accounts, ensuring relevant financial reporting standards are adhered to
• Preparation of year-end accounts, management accounts and bookkeeping
• Completion and submission of VAT & CIS returns
• Other ad hoc all round accounting tasks.
