Job summary

Konker is recruiting a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join their Sussex studio in Worthing. You will support the residential team on early-stage design and feasibility work, developing concepts and presentations.

You’ll produce drawings and models, research ideas, and help take projects from initial concepts through to delivery while working with clients, consultants and site visits. AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite are essential; Revit is beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

• Strong design skills and a proactive approach.
• Excellent presentation skills with ability to develop concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support residential projects in early design stages.

Konker is recruiting for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join an award-winning practice at their Sussex studio, just a stone's throw from the seafront in Worthing.

This is a great opportunity to join the residential team, working primarily on early-stage design and feasibility work.

As a Part 2 Architectural Assistant, you'll be working closely with senior members of the residential team, supporting projects through the early stages of design.

You'll be involved in developing design concepts and presentations, producing drawings and models, carrying out research and helping to develop projects from initial ideas through to delivery.

You'll also have the opportunity to work alongside clients, consultants and contractors, attend site visits and continue developing your technical and professional experience.

We're looking for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant with UK practice experience, ideally within residential projects. You'll have strong design skills, be confident with AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite, with Revit experience beneficial but not essential, alongside a proactive approach and a strong portfolio.

The Sussex studio is modern, highly sociable and located just a short walk from Worthing and East Worthing train stations, with free parking available nearby.
