Part 2 Architectural Assistant
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: 28-35,000

A forward-thinking, RIBA-chartered practice based in Milton Keynes is seeking a motivated Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join its expanding team. The practice is recognised for delivering creative, high-quality design alongside strong technical expertise. This opportunity offers the successful candidate the chance to work on a variety of exciting projects while developing their skills and progressing their career.

Requirements
  • RIBA Part 2 qualified, with sufficient UK experience in practice
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Confident using SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
  • 3D modelling and rendering skills (advantageous)
  • Strong technical awareness and understanding of UK construction methods
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Within commuting distance of Milton Keynes and hold a valid UK driving licence
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and delivery of projects across all RIBA Plan of Work stages
  • Produce high-quality drawings, presentations, and technical information
  • Support planning applications and liaise with consultants, contractors, and local authorities
  • Ensure design and technical output complies with Building Regulations and planning policy
  • Contribute to the creative and professional growth of the practice
