Job summary

Sinclair Watt Architects Ltd in Methil, Fife, is seeking a Part 2 Architect to join our growing practice. You will work with our team to develop designs from concept through to construction, gaining experience across a varied portfolio.

The role emphasises proactive design thinking, collaboration with clients and consultants, and a clear understanding of UK regulations. AutoCAD is essential and Revit desirable; strong presentation skills are expected.

Qualifications

• RIBA/ARB Part 2 qualification (or equivalent).
• Highly motivated, creative, and proactive approach to work.
• Strong design and presentation skills.
• Good communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Experience with Revit is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning processes would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of architectural designs and technical drawings.
• Support project delivery from initial concept through to construction stages.
• Prepare planning, building warrant, and construction documentation.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities.
• Participate in site visits and project meetings.
• Contribute creative ideas and technical solutions throughout the design process.
