Job summary

Riach Architects in Oxford is seeking a Part 1 or Part 2 architectural assistant to join our expanding, award-winning, RIBA chartered architectural practice based in Oxford.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, with the ability to work to deadlines. For Part 2, experience in a UK architectural practice and BIM software is valued. We offer a challenging range of projects and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• For Part 1: previous work in an office environment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Excellent communicator.

Responsibilities

• For Part 2: minimum one year of experience of working at a UK architectural practice.
• High level of precision and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Confidence in both written and verbal communication with colleagues and clients.
• Knowledge of technical construction, building regulations and tender package experience.
• Experience of ArchiCAD or similar BIM software.
