Job summary

Maldon District Council is seeking a Parks & Countryside Officer to maintain and improve public spaces across Maldon Promenade Park. The role is full-time, temporary for 1-2 months, with 36-37 hours weekly and £12.78 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in outdoor grounds maintenance and park upkeep.
• Familiar with street cleansing and weed control.
• Valid UK driving licence for up to 3.5t vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Emptying bins and litter picking in Maldon Promenade Park.
• Sweeping pathways, grass cutting and hedge trimming as required.
• Hand-weeding shrub beds and general park maintenance.
