Job summary

Publica Group Ltd in Cirencester is hiring a Civil Enforcement Officer to patrol council car parks and assist the public. This part-time role is 29.6 hours per week across four days, with a pro rata salary of £25,814 to £26,121 per annum (plus pay award).

You will regulate parking, advise drivers, issue penalties when needed, and gather evidence using a handheld device. No previous experience required; full training provided.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including English and Maths A*- C or equivalent.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• A current driving licence and the ability to meet travelling needs of the role, including driving company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Regulate parking spaces by advising drivers where to park.
• Patrol parking bays reserved for specific users such as those with a blue badge.
• Ensure a turnover of vehicles in limited waiting parking spaces to give others the opportunity to park.
• Act as an ambassador for the area by advising visitors and residents on attractions and amenities.
• Issuing penalty charge notices as and when necessary.
• Gather evidence with a handheld computer, taking written notes and photographs; maintain accurate records.
