Job summary

Venn Group in Bath is seeking a Civil Enforcement Officer to patrol streets and car parks, enforcing parking regulations and issuing penalties where needed. This role is outdoor and customer‑facing, with a focus on safe, accessible streets and helpful public service.

Full‑time, permanent position with 40 hours weekly (6am–10pm rota) and additional overtime. A full UK driving licence is required, and you will work with handheld devices to keep precise records in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling streets and car parks to ensure parking regulations are followed.
• Issuing Penalty Charge Notices to vehicles parked contravention.
• Educating and advising the public on safe parking and restrictions.
• Reporting abandoned vehicles or damaged signage for quick action.
• Assisting residents, visitors and businesses with queries in a professional manner.
• Collaborating with Parking Services and Enforcement teams to keep streets safe.
