Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of car parks, ensuring facilities, signage, lighting, parking machines and infrastructure are safe and functional.
• Conduct regular car park inspections and coordinate maintenance and repair works.
• Manage parking permit schemes, including applications, renewals, invoicing and permit enforcement.
• Oversee parking income and expenditure, including financial reporting, revenue monitoring and reconciliation of cash and cashless payment systems.
• Act as liaison with parking enforcement partners and contractors to meet contractual obligations and service standards.
• Support the development, review and implementation of TROs and parking schemes.
• Respond to enquiries and complaints from residents, businesses and elected members regarding parking services.
• Ensure compliance with parking legislation, health and safety, GDPR and policies.
• Produce management reports and performance data relating to parking operations, permits and enforcement.
• Monitor contractor performance and manage service improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operation of car parks, ensuring facilities, signage, lighting, parking machines and infrastructure are safe, functional and fit for purpose.
• Conduct regular car park inspections and coordinate maintenance and repair works.
• Manage all parking permit schemes, including applications, renewals, invoicing and permit enforcement.
• Oversee parking income and expenditure, including financial reporting, revenue monitoring and reconciliation of cash and cashless payment systems.
• Act as the key liaison with parking enforcement partners and contractors, ensuring contractual obligations and service standards are met.
• Support the development, review and implementation of Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs) and parking schemes.
• Respond to enquiries and complaints from residents, businesses and elected members regarding parking services.
• Ensure compliance with relevant parking legislation, health and safety requirements, GDPR regulations and policies.
• Produce management reports, performance data and statistical information relating to parking operations, permits and enforcement activities.
• Monitor contractor performance and manage service improvement initiatives.
