Job summary

Harlow District Council is seeking a Parking Services Manager to oversee car park operations in Harlow and ensure all schemes align with TROs, including the management of machines, signage, and lighting. You will liaise with the North Essex Parking Partnership and handle public enquiries.

Qualifications

A full current driving licence is required which must have been valid for at least 12 months.
Competent driving skills (HCC).
Computer literate; proficient in Microsoft Office; able to create reports and spreadsheets.
Knowledge in the use of Chipside, Flowbird, MiPermit or other appropriate software packages.
Comprehensive knowledge of parking enforcement legislation and moving traffic offence enforcement legislation.
Significant experience in the running of day to day operations of a parking service, including parking permit administration.
Ability to produce reports based on financial data as part of regular budget monitoring processes.

Responsibilities

Car park management.
Ensure car parks are fit for purpose and fully functional for their hours according to TROs; manage machines, tariff boards, signage, lighting.
Record lost property found by staff or public and process per policy.
Process CCTV footage requests in line with GDPR policies.
