Job summary

The Recruitment Group in partnership with Oxford Direct Services is seeking a Car Park Enforcement Officer in Oxford to ensure customers comply with parking conditions.

You will issue penalties, complete penalties accurately, and assist with car park operations including locking/unlocking and pay machines maintenance. The role requires a full UK driving licence, customer focus, and flexibility for 37 hours over five days with overtime.

Qualifications

We're on the lookout for a Car Park Enforcement Officer to join their well-established team in Oxford

As Enforcement Officer you will be responsible for ensuring customers comply with the conditions of parking

About You:

You will need to hold a Full valid UK driving licence have experience of working in a customer focussed environment.

You will have the ability to make and justify decisions with regard to enforcement duties, with the ability to work in a team and independently using own initiative.

This role involves a considerable amount of walking, so a high level of fitness is required to perform this role. You will need to be able to work shift patterns with flexibility to do additional/alternative shifts (with reasonable notice) to cover operational requirements.

• Issue penalties to vehicles in an offence position, utilising any technology provided Complete penalties accurately ensuring error rates are minimised
• Comply with all audit requirements when issuing penalties.
• Demonstrate high levels of customer service.
• Assist with the locking/unlocking of car parks and buildings as necessary and to assist with the operations of any car park.
• Assist with the minor maintenance of car park premises and equipment. This will include the maintenance of pay machines, filling them with tickets

Working Hours:

Working 37hrs over 5 days

Pay rate of £17.23per hour (with overtime available)
