Job summary

Parkdean Resorts is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Assistant to keep our UK parks in top condition. You’ll perform plumbing, carpentry, electrical and general repairs, and maintain outdoor spaces and holiday home presentation across sites.

You’ll work independently and in teams, using ParkSmart to manage tasks, support other departments, and ensure safety and high standards for guests and homeowners alike.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience across building trades.
• Ability to perform various repair tasks and basic fault finding.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Good safety awareness with use of hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs across the park.
• Complete plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair tasks.
• Use ParkSmart system to manage and complete maintenance jobs.
• Support other park departments with maintenance requirements as needed.
• Maintain tools, equipment and workshop areas to a safe standard.
• Monitor stock levels of maintenance materials and supplies.
• Prepare holiday homes for sale ensuring they are clean, safe and presentation-ready.
• Carry out snagging, inspections and repairs to fixtures, fittings, plumbing and electrics.
• Support holiday home handovers and respond to maintenance requests.
• Assist with pitch tidies and movement or siting of holiday homes when required.
• Work with Sales, Ownership and Maintenance teams to deliver customer experience.
• Maintain park outdoor spaces: grass cutting, strimming, hedging and litter picking.
• Carry out landscaping, painting, fencing, jet washing and general external repairs.
• Care for flower beds through planting and weeding.
