Job summary

Park Holidays UK is looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to keep our parks well-maintained, clean, and inviting. You’ll handle lawn care, hedges, flowerbeds, and general gardening tasks while ensuring safety and policy compliance.

The role involves outdoor work across our parks, with opportunities to develop skills in a dynamic holiday park environment and support other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance and gardening.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• A professional attitude and a positive, can-do personality.
• Experience in caravan park environments is an advantage.
• Willingness to wear company-provided uniform and maintain a neat appearance.
• Flexibility in working hours to meet the needs of the park.

Responsibilities

• Cutting grass and maintaining lawn areas to high standards.
• Trimming hedges and maintaining shrubbery.
• Laying bark and maintaining flowerbeds.
• General gardening duties, including planting and upkeep of green areas.
• Collecting and disposing of rubbish/litter and managing bin areas.
• Distributing deliveries to relevant departments.
• Assisting with moving and siting of caravans and lodges.
• Supporting other departments with ad hoc duties as needed.
• Ensuring compliance with all company policies and health & safety regulations.
• Litter picking and keeping park areas clean.
