Job summary

Mill Lane Primary School in Stockton-on-Tees is seeking a committed Parent Support Advisor to support pupil wellbeing, liaise with parents of children with early signs of social, emotional, health or attendance issues, and promote high-quality parenting. The successful applicant will be an excellent practitioner with strong interpersonal and recording skills, and will work as part of a friendly team.

Qualifications

• Passionate about pupil well-being.
• Supportive of parents of children with early signs of social, emotional, health or attendance issues and able to promote high-quality parenting.
• Able to provide impartial information or referrals to parents about the school and relevant local services available to parents.
• Able to convey the voice of the child to parents and school staff.
• Able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and recording skills.
• Able to liaise with outside agencies and attend meetings.
