Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide Perth is hiring a part-time warehouse operative to unload, sort and load parcels, and prepare trailers for drivers. Typical hours are 16:00–20:00, Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunities.

Starting salary £25,201 per year (£12.71/hour), rising after six months to £27,561 (£13.94/hour) and up to £30,000 per year with overtime. Benefits include pension, holiday allowance, medical cover, uniform and training.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (Cat B) with up to 6 points.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.

Responsibilities

• Unload / load parcels and sort to correct routes.
• Prepare trailers for drivers and arrange onward transport.
• Provide friendly, dependable customer service.

• Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Additional Allowances:-
• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Night Duty Allowance (+£2.74 per hour, applicable on hours worked between 20:00 and 06:00)

What You'll Be Doing

• Unloading / Loading parcels
• Sorting parcels to correct delivery route / preparing trailer ready for the drivers / onward transport
• Providing a friendly, dependable service - whether it's a birthday gift or important business mail

What We're Looking For

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points
• Someone with good attention to detail
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
• Someone who's friendly, dependable, and customer focused
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
