Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Operative for Parcelforce during the Christmas season. You will join a dynamic team handling parcels and helping connect people and businesses daily in a historic service.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, moving, and sorting parcels, and preparing trailers. The role requires physical fitness, reliability, and teamwork, with day and night shifts and weekly pay.

Competenze

• No previous experience required.
• Experience in similar environments is a bonus.
• Flexibility and comfort switching between tasks.
• Able to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
• Push loads up to 250kg with assistance.
• Long shifts on your feet.

Mansioni

• Load and unload parcels.

Day-to-day of the role:

Join our team for the Christmas season and become a vital part of the operations as a Warehouse Operative with Parcelforce. This role is ideal for those seeking a dynamic work environment and the chance to be part of a historic service that connects people and businesses every day.

• Load and unload parcels.
• Move parcels through the warehouse safely and efficiently.
• Sort parcels to correct delivery route and prepare trailers for drivers and onward transport.
• Securely handle all items in the warehouse, including handling specific items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• No previous experience required; however, experience in similar environments is a bonus.
• Flexibility and comfort in switching between tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg and push loads up to 250kg (with assistance for heavier items).
• Physical fitness and ability to manage long shifts on your feet.
• Motivation, reliability, and readiness to work as part of a team.

Starting Pay Rate:

• Days: Monday to Saturday 06:00 - 20:00 - £13.17 per hour
• Nights: Monday to Saturday 20:00 - 06:00 - £15.91 per hour

Shift Days and Hours:

Monday to Friday: 13:00 - 21:00
