Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Warehouse Operative for the Parcelforce Christmas season in Leeds. You will support loading and unloading, sorting parcels and preparing trailers for drivers in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

This seasonal role offers weekly pay, shift variety and a chance to be part of a historic service connecting people and businesses daily.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; prior similar work is a bonus.
• Flexibility to switch between tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 30 kg and push up to 250 kg (with help).
• Physical fitness to stand long shifts.
• Reliable team player.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Load and unload parcels.
• Move parcels through the warehouse safely and efficiently.
• Sort parcels to correct delivery route and prepare trailers for drivers and onward transport.
• Securely handle all items in the warehouse, including handling specific items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• No previous experience required; however, experience in similar environments is a bonus.
• Flexibility and comfort in switching between tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg and push loads up to 250kg (with assistance for heavier items).
• Physical fitness and ability to manage long shifts on your feet.
• Motivation, reliability, and readiness to work as part of a team.

Starting Pay Rate:

• Monday to Saturday Days: 06:00 - 20:00 - £13.17 per hour
• Monday to Saturday Nights: 20:00 - 06:00 - £15.91 per hour

Shift Days and Hours: Monday to Friday: 15:00 - 21:00
