Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide Medway, Gillingham is recruiting a Delivery Driver on a permanent, full-time basis. You will sort parcels, plan efficient routes, carry out vehicle safety checks and deliver to homes and businesses, with weekend patterns discussed at interview.

Starting salary is £25,201 per year, rising to £27,561 after six months, with a potential to earn up to £30,000 per year including overtime. Benefits include a company pension, generous holiday allowance, medical cover, uniform,

Qualifications

• A valid UK manual driving licence (Cat B) registered to your address, with no more than 6 points
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg

Job description

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 38 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. We have various shift patterns across Monday to Saturday for this role. The available patterns will be discussed at interview.

• After 6 months: £27,561 per year £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Additional Allowances:
• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)
