Job summary

Supreme Recruitment is actively recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join a busy parcel distribution operation. Roles involve sorting, scanning, loading/unloading, and preparing parcels for distribution across Day, Late and Night shifts.

Experience is beneficial but not essential; full training will be provided. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail in parcel handling and sorting.
• Physically able to carry out active warehouse duties.
• Flexible and willing to support different areas of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Sort parcels into the correct areas for dispatch.
• Scan parcels using handheld warehouse equipment.
• Load and unload parcels from vehicles.
• Move parcels safely around the warehouse.
• Relabel and prepare parcels for the next stage of distribution.
• Manual and machine-assisted parcel sorting.
• Organise parcels by route, destination or delivery area.
• Work to operational targets and deadlines.
• Identify incorrectly labelled or damaged parcels.
• Keep the working area clean, safe and organised.
• Support colleagues during busy periods.
• Follow all warehouse health & safety procedures.
