Job summary

Royal Mail are seeking Delivery Drivers to distribute parcels and letters on a dedicated route within the community. You will drive and/or walk to deliver parcels and letters with a focus on quick, efficient service and high integrity. You may also assist with sorting mail/parcels at the delivery office.

Applicants should have a Full UK driving licence (max six points) and strong customer service skills. The role is temporary, with a typical shift 09:00–15:00 and a 5-day week (Mon-Sat).

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than six points.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good level of fitness to meet demands of the role.
• Able to work a minimum of 5 days a week between Monday and Saturday.
• Shift time is 09:00 - 15:00.
• Temporary position.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels and letters quickly and efficiently on a dedicated route by driving and/or walking.
• Sort mail/parcels within the delivery office as required.

Other duties may also include sorting of mail/parcels within the delivery office.
