Job summary

Royal Mail are now looking for Delivery Drivers to be a part of this world-class service, delivering parcels and letters across local routes in your community. You will drive and/or walk a fixed route, providing friendly customer service and may sort mail at the delivery office.

You will work a minimum of 5 days a week (Mon–Sat) with shifts 09:00-15:00 or 12:00-18:00, earning £13.69 per hour. A DBS check is required as part of the application process.

• Full UK driving licence, with no more than six points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels and letters quickly and efficiently along a fixed local route.
• Drive and/or walk the assigned route and maintain service standards.
• Sort mail/parcels at the delivery office as required.

Royal Mail deliver letters and parcels every day to people throughout the country and are relied on by communities across the UK. We are now looking for Delivery Drivers to be a part of this world-class service.

You will be responsible for delivering parcels and letters quickly and efficiently, by driving and/or walking on a dedicated route, whilst maintaining our high integrity standards and demonstrating friendly customer service! Other duties may also include sorting of mail/parcels within the delivery office.

• The role is working a minimum of 5 days a week between the days of Monday to Saturday. (Shift times may vary)
• Shift time is 09:00 - 15:00 or 12:00 - 18:00
• Basic pay rate - £13.69ph
• Temporary

As a Parcel/Letter Delivery Driver, you will need the following:

• Full UK driving licence, with no more than six points. (Subject to conditions)
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Upbeat and self-motivated.

• Good level of fitness to meet demands of the role.
