Royal Mail is hiring a Parcel Delivery Driver in the Chorley area. You will join a team delivering parcels across your assigned area, using route-planning technology to ensure timely delivery. You will prep your van, handle workload, and interact with customers with pride and professionalism.

The role requires a full UK driving licence with up to six penalty points and a willingness to work Saturdays and Sundays on a local rota. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Candidate Profile

• Upbeat, self-motivated and thrive whilst working independently

• Comfortable interacting with customers, acting as a positive ambassador for Royal mail
• Happy to work in the afternoon and early evenings
• Enjoy a multi drop driving role, delivering parcels across the week in the assigned area
• Possess a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points, Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you're expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
